George Williams and his Hand-Carved Crucifixion

Master carver George Williams in 1995 and the carving of Christ he made for me. He worked on it just about all day and charged me ten dollars. At the time of this, my third visit to see Mr. Williams, the town he lived in was 98% African-American and the unemployment rate was 45%.
