old time religion Will Pierce Boy Preacher

Will Pierce, ten year old preacher who has delivered three sermons from the pulpit of the John Sevier Church of God. I do not, and can not, find out what happened to the young man, shown here in 1939.

I do know the church is still there. Here are the directions: "We are located at 1401 Paramount Road, just off Old Rutledge Pike in East Knox County. On I-40 take the Rutledge Pike exit. Go north on Rutledge Pike. After passing the Pilot Gas Station on your right, you will travel approximately 1 mile until you see the HeavyQuip sign. Take a right there. This is Old Rutledge Pike. You will travel approximately 1.2 miles to Paramount Road. Turn left. Our building is on the left"
