Lowell and the Rhythm-airs old time religion
Rockabilly crooner Lowell Lundstrom's band beat singer Connie Brown in a talent competition, but the she caught his eye. He taught Connie to play the guitar, then invited her to join his band the Rhythm-airs. After some near-death auto accidents on the road, Connie convinced Lowell to attend a gospel meeting. Lowell dunked the remaining Rhythm-airs gigs and began reading the bible. He married Connie, and together they enrolled in Trinity Bible College in North Dakota. Lowell finished his degree at North Central Bible College In Minneapolis, where Jim Bakker was a classmate. He's been reading the Bible ever since. Check out the tempo change on the clip below!
